LRTC Culinary Arts Program/The Green Ladle is one of Lewiston Regional Technical Center’s 21 hands-on, career-oriented educational programs. Culinary Arts is a two year program that students must apply for in their sophomore year. LRTC serves six area sending schools and we receive many applications from all six schools. We have a total of 60 students enrolled in the program.
Many of our students continue their education in the culinary/hospitality field. We have over 700 alumni who have become restaurant chefs, dietitians, bakers and most recently, Chef Heidi Parent was a Gordon Ramsey Hell’s Kitchen participant coming in third overall!
All proceeds from the festival will be added to our scholarship fund and benefit students wanting to further their career in the culinary and hospitality fields.
