Pine Tree GlassWorks

My journey into the world of glass began in 2001, when I realized I had some extra time on my hands. My children had embarked on their own journey into adulthood, so now it was my time to play. A vocational high school in the area offered an adult ed class in stained glass and this, caught my eye. This was something I had always wanted to try, but never had the time. So, I enrolled. This quickly became my passion. I made items both large and small for family and friends. A few years later, I was introduced to glass fusing. I was fascinated with the concept of melting glass, so I bought a kiln. This gave my journey a new road to explore, and this quickly became my new focus. I now create glass items that can be made into jewelry, functional items, or incorporated into my stained glass pieces.  In 2005, with the loving suport of my husband Mark, Pine Tree GlassWorks was born. I currently find myself in a constant state of growth and development. I learn new things every day and have no fear to try a new technique.  Inspiration for my pieces, comes when I least expect it. I now serve as the adult ed stained glass teacher at the very same school where I started. I have come full circle.
My mission is to offer customers, quality handmade glass items, both decorative and functional. To achieve this mission, Pine Tree Glassworks will embark on a continuous journey to improve and become educated in the most current products and services available.
