Freeport Community Services

The Freeport Community Services (FCS) Thrift Shop is fortunate to get so many wonderful donations which support our programs.  Stop by our booth as we feature one of a kind hand painted chairs and other small pieces by volunteers and area artists.  All of our items featured started as donations to our shop and staff and volunteers selected them and have created these one of a kind, reimagined, fun pieces. Stop by, take a seat and think of FCS! All sales benefit FCS programs.

Our popular Thrift Shop prides itself on being among the best shops in New England.  It is welcoming, organized and accessible.  Located at 53 Depot Street in Freeport. Stop by, and you’ll find everything you need in our shop.

About FCS: We have been providing critical support to the people in the communities of Freeport and Pownal since 1974. Founded in a room above a volunteer’s garage with the simple, but powerful idea of “neighbor helping neighbor” services include emergency food, fuel, clothing, and utility assistance; a medical equipment loan closet; transportation services; summer lunch, camp scholarship and children’s literacy program. We also operate the Freeport Community Center.
